a strong team makes room for individuals to excel and can turn tensions into a springboard for development

Our office in Tübingen is our hub – a place to re-tank and experiment with new ideas. It is where our lines of communication converge and are sent back out to our clients. It is where new ideas and projects come to life. And it is where we come together to share our experiences and learn from each other. Our clients profit from the fact that they can easily get in touch with us and that we take care of choosing the best possible fit among our consultants for a client's needs. Plus, we can provide quick and reliable solutions even for last-minute projects. The people who make up our company – and cater to the individual needs of our clients in all their differences – are our biggest asset.

When in history would you have liked to live? As who or what?

in the present, as Marlies Mittler – a great time, great possibilities and central heating.

Who is your favourite historical figure? Why?

I don't have one. I like to read biographies, and for a while I have a favourite person. Then I read another biography...
Two things interest me about these stories: when people help bring a new idea to life or when they lead their lives in way that is ahead of their time.

What does happiness mean to you?

moments that are alive

What personal traits do you value most?

commitment, humour, openness, generosity, goodness.
That's what I like in others. That's what I also aim for, but I haven’t necessarily gotten there yet.

What are your favourite things to do when you aren't working?

singing

What do you like most about your work?

I get glimpses into business worlds and fascinating fields of work. I get to experience people in all their diversity and difference. I run into situations or questions that I have to come to terms with quickly.

Who are you at ubf?

managing partner of the second generation and (still) one of the older generation.
specialization: invent and sell new training programs.

What does ubf mean to you?

challenges, fun, work, further development, productive chaos, safe harbour, broader space...but above all the great people

What do you really want to experience before you die?

my life

Your motto?

it changes often - right now: life is made of moments
